I just want to touch base with everyone and give a few updates of happenings.
First, I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe, this is surely some difficult times for some. Keep an eye out for your neighbors 🙂
1. The town office will be opening back up to the public starting May 19th. Office hours are as follows:
Monday – Closed
Tuesday – 8:30-4PM
Wednesday – 10-6PM
Thursday – 8:30-4PM
Friday – 8:30-4PM
Guideline to follow until further notice are: We will have a 6 ft marked area on the floor for the second person who might be in line waiting, if there is more than 3 needing service one will need to wait outside, sorry. Plexiglass will be installed at the counter for everyone’s protection.
2. Spring Clean Up day is June 27th, Saturday, 8am-4PM. As the date gets closer I will post a list of items accepted vs not.
3. In the last 2 weeks the town has replaced 8 signs and I have ordered 5 more. This is a cost to you as a taxpayer, if you know who might be removing these signs I encourage you to talk to our local Sheriff. Signage is very critical to any town, if there is an emergency the responders need to be able to find your street/house.
4. Monthly meetings have not been scheduled as of yet, stay tune for that.
5. Town roads will be swept by the end of next week, 5-15-20 into the first of the following week, 5-18-2020
This is all for now, stay safe everyone ! 🙂
